With over 15 years of coaching experience, "Coach EJ" has dedicated his career to developing athletes of all ages and skill levels. As a professional tumbler for eight years, he brings firsthand experience and advanced technical knowledge to every practice.

EJ attended the prestigious Navarro College, where he continued to refine his skills and passion for athletics. Throughout his coaching career, he has coached Levels 1 through 6 in All Star Cheer and Levels 1 through 9 in USA Gymnastics, including Compulsory and Xcel  programs. His coaching philospohy focuses on building strong fundamentals while helping athletes reach their highest potential in a safe, positive, and challenging environment.

Beyond the gym, EJ has performed in halftime shows for the Denver Nuggets and Denver Broncos and is the founder of HighLife, a traveling camp business that provides clinic and training opportunities for athletes across the country.

At Legendz Xtreme Athletics, EJ is passionate about creating more than great athletes. He strives to build confident, disciplined young people through programs that challenge athletes both physically and mentally while maintaining a fun, family-oriented, and competitive atmosphere. He believes that hard work, perseverance, and a love for the sport are the foundation for success both inside and outside the gym.

Whether he's teaching a child's first cartwheel or helping an elite athlete perfect a new skill, EJ's goal is the same: to inspire every athlete to become the best version of themselves while creating legends along the way.

Coach Quincey "Coach Q" has over 10 years of cheerleading experience and is passionate about helping athletes build confidence, technique, and a love for the sport. Born in Wichita and raised in Hutchinson, KS, Quincey began his competitive cheer journey at CTA under Head Coach EJ before joining the Hutchinson High School cheer team the following year.

Throughout his career, Coach Q has trained with programs locally and across the nation, including MEC, CE, Twist and Shout, and California Allstars, competing at both the Summit and Worlds. His sideline cheer accomplishments include being selected as an NCA All-American three times, earning the 2018 Top All-American honor, being named to the Shrine Bowl Advanced Team twice, and receiving recognition as a member of the 2019 Elite 8.

Following his senior year, Coach Q was invited to join the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) staff. From 2020 to 2023, he traveled throughout the Central, Western, and Southeastern regions as an NCA instructor, sharing his knowledge and passion with athletes and coaches across the country.

Today, Coach Q is excited to bring his experience home to Legendz Xtreme Athletics. His goal is to inspire athletes to dream big, work hard, and become confident both on and off the mat.

Fun Fact: Coach Q is passionate about travel and human rights advocacy and hopes to continue exploring the world in the future.

Hi, I'm Coach Karsyn! I'm so excited to be part of the Legendz Xtreme Athletics journey. I'm currently a sophomore at Hutchinson Community College, where I'm studying graphic design and cheering on the HCC cheer team.

I love cheer and tumbling because they bring so much energy, confidence, and excitement--not only to athletes, but to everyone around them. One of my favorite parts of coaching is helping athletes celebrate their progress and feel proud of what they accomplish.

Fun fact: I have two cats named Belle and Bodie who are one year old, and honestly, they're some of my best friends! 

I can't wait to meet all of our Legendz athletes and families!

Coach Marlon "Coach O" is a hip-hop dancer, instructor, and choreographer originally from San Diego, California. His passion for dance began in high school through competitive dance, eventually leading him to become a dance camp instructor with Origin Hip Hop.

Coach O later served as the Dance Director for the San Diego Jackie Robinson YMCA, where he inspired and mentored young dancers while helping them build confidence and develop their skills. After relocating to Kansas, he opened an extension studio for Origin Hip Hop and has continued sharing his love for dance throughout the community.

At Legendz Xtreme Athletics, Coach O brings high-energy instruction, creativity, and a passion for hip-hop culture to every class. His goal is to help each dancer grow in confidence, discipline, and performance while creating a fun, encouraging environment where athletes can express themselves and reach their full potential.
